Movie Review: The Harder They Fall 2021

The plot of The Harder They Fall is gripping and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. It’s a classic tale of good versus evil with twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. But what really stands out in this movie are the characters portrayed by the talented cast. Jonathan Majors is outstanding as Nat Love, bringing depth and complexity to his character. Idris Elba also delivers a strong performance as Rufus Buck, perfectly embodying his ruthless villainy.
Director Jeymes Samuel has created a visually stunning film with beautiful cinematography that captures the essence of the Wild West perfectly. The score by James Samuel & Jay-Z also adds to the ambiance of each scene.
The production design deserves special mention for its attention to detail in depicting life from over a century ago – from costumes to set designs; everything feels authentic and well researched.
Additionally, The Harder They Fall thrills audiences with some fantastic action sequences that keep them engaged throughout. From shootouts to horse chases – each scene is expertly executed and choreographed providing non-stop entertainment.
Overall, The Harder They Fall is an excellent Western movie that delivers on all fronts – great storylines, amazing acting performances, impressive direction; it’s clear why it has been so highly praised by critics. Nonetheless, while it’s packed with stylish visuals & memorable moments; at times it can come across as formulaic or predictable but still manages to be one heck of an entertaining ride!
