Movie Review: Fourteen 2019
Fourteen is a beautifully crafted movie that explores the complexities of female friendship and the passing of time. The film follows two best friends, Mara and Jo, as they navigate their lives over a period of fourteen years. With each passing year, we see how their relationship changes and evolves, until it becomes almost unrecognizable.
The plot is simple yet effective in its execution. We bear witness to the everyday moments that make up Mara and Jo’s lives: the good times, the bad times, and everything in between.
