The plot revolves around Emily (Casey Likes), a teenage girl who suspects her neighbor, Richard (James Morrison), of murdering young girls in his basement. Emily’s mother, Sarah (Elizabeth Marvel), tries to protect her daughter by keeping her away from Richard, but eventually their paths cross and Emily confronts him with unexpected results.

The acting in this movie is outstanding. Casey Likes gives an exceptional performance as Emily, portraying her innocence and vulnerability perfectly. Elizabeth Marvel also shines as Sarah, struggling to deal with the guilt she feels over past mistakes while trying to protect her daughter.
